Orders & Delivery

Orders can be placed in a number of ways:

  1. By placing an order through the shopping cart on the website. When purchasing through the cart, you will have the option of paying by direct credit, credit card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Afterpay and/or Laybuy.
  2. By emailing hello@danceboxnz.comSend us the information about what you would like to order, and your contact information, and we will send you the payment details.
  3. Through the contact us section on our website
  4. Through our Facebook page.

DanceBoxNZ holds selected items in stock, however some stock is held with suppliers in New Zealand, Australia, USA, and UK. Due to this, delivery times may vary across different items. If an item is held in stock with the supplier, there will be a note advising this on the product page. 

We endeavour to have delivery information displayed on individual product pages if there is going to be a longer than usual delivery time for an item. We will try and contact you as quickly as possible after receiving your order to advise of any possible delays in your order arriving.

On occasion, items held in stock with our suppliers may go out of stock with them as you are placing your order. If this occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible with a new delivery estimate and alternate item options. 

Standard items that are in stock with us are sent within 1-2 days, once payment has been processed and received.

If an item is in stock with one of our New Zealand suppliers, then delivery times are usually 3-4 days. In some cases, this can be up to 1.5 weeks, however this will be noted on the product page. 

If an item is in stock overseas, delivery times will be stated in the product description. These generally vary from 1.5 - 3 weeks. 

Some items are made to order - this will be displayed on the product page. These delivery times vary depending on the product and demand with the supplier. In some cases they can take up to 6 weeks.

If you are after an item urgently, or need it by a certain time, please get in touch with us for more accurate delivery times. For urgent deliveries, an extra courier charge may apply.

If an order contains a number of different items with different delivery estimates, then the order will be sent once all items have been received by us from our suppliers. If there is a particular item in the order that we already have and you needed faster, please contact us so we can try and help. 


**Please note, the above delivery standards are approximate times; we will do our very best to ensure your product gets to you as soon as possible and often they do arrive faster, however sometimes things occur which are out of our control**


Delivery Times:

Once your order has been dispatched from us in Hamilton, our delivery time frames are as follows:

  • North Island: Overnight
  • South Island: Overnight
  • North Island Rural: 2 - 4 days
  • South Island Rural: 2 - 4 days
  • Australia: 2 - 7 days

Delivery time frames are for business days only - this does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.

Please note that these are targeted delivery time-frames set by the courier companies. Factors such as bad weather can disrupt courier services and cause delays. Delays can also occur at high shopping times of the year (such as Christmas) due to increased freight volumes. You will receive an email with your tracking information once it has been sent. We will try and monitor the tracking but we also recommend you keep an eye on tracking to ensure your parcel is delivered on time.

Once an item has been picked up by the courier we unfortunately have no control over when they will deliver it. We will try our best to resolve any courier issues if they arise, however we are unable to control how the couriers operate.
